FM Mahar & Associates began as a sole practitioner practice in September 2003, located in the heart of Koroit St Warrnambool. Within 2 years Frederick had outgrown the premises and had the requirement for a full executive assistant.
Within 3 years, FM Mahar & Associates had employed its first graduate accountant and by the end of 2007 the practice had further expanded, now employing two graduate accountants. By this time FM Mahar & Associates was servicing clients not only in Warrnambool, but right across the south west and Victoria.
The business continued to expand and in 2011, relocation to a larger premises in Timor St was necessary. By this time Frederick was now employing 3 full time CPA's, a graduate accountant and a full-time administrative assistant.
Now in 2018, FM Mahar & Associates has a team of eleven professional staff, consisting of three partners (Frederick M Mahar, Jon D Warburton and Jon F Burchell), two full time accountants (Samantha Walmsley and Bradley Chant), one part-time accountant (Jessica Scanlan-Chatfield) and one full time Administration Manager (Deb Daly). More recently the firm has expanded its service offering to include Financial Planning (FM Mahar Financial Planning) employing one full time Certified Financial Planner (Traci Bartlett), one part time planner (Jon F Burchell), one part time Senior para-planner (Megan Whelan), one full time service specialist (Denise Boswell), and one part time Team Support & Marketing Officer (Leanne Pilkington).
