Megan Whelan

Megan joined FM Mahar Financial Planning as an Senior Paraplanner/Operations Manager in 2016.

Megan has 25 years’ experience in the Financial Planning profession and has a Diploma of Financial Planning (DipFP). Over these years Megan has gained experience in the many facets of Financial Planning, from administration through to advising clients. This experience has enabled her to build her knowledge, education and skills to become one of the most experienced and valued Senior Paraplanners in the district.

In her role, Megan works closely with our Financial Planners offering them technical support and assistance in developing the most appropriate strategy for our clients that puts their goals and objectives at the forefront. Her experience and knowledge enable her to prepare financial plans that are easy to understand and aims to give our clients a clear understanding of our recommendations to assist them in achieving their goals. Megan enjoys the meticulous research and investigation required to find answers to clients’ financial planning needs.

Megan is from a local farming family, a Mum of two daughters, is a netball tragic and keen yogi.
